Description
Large indeterminate plant with potato leaves, bearing large red beefsteak fruit, with excellent balanced flavor. Stabilised from a cross of Yellow Brandywine and an unknown red parent by Dr Carolyn Male, tomato guru and author, who featured it in her book ‘100 Heirloom Tomatoes for The American Garden’. We don’t grow a lot of Brandywine tomatoes due to their shy production in central Victoria, but this one performs better than most. And the flavour is outstanding.
