Broad Bean – Breeders Mix

Description

This is a collection of every Broad Bean (fava bean) I could find, grown together in close planting to allow cross-pollination. The parents include Coles Dwarf, Senorita’s Hat, Red Flowered, Chocolate Flowered, Egyptian, Stone Ear, three Field Favas collected from Rupanyup, Colac and Kerang, Cambridge Scarlet and several others.  This is a mix of F1, F2 and F3 material. This is an ongoing project, with additional lines being added to the mix as they come available. Expect lots of diversity.
