Broadbean – Muckleford Mauve

We re-selected this purple-seeded broadbean from a diverse genepool grown by our friend Andrew in Muckleford, which came from a hyper-diverse mass-crossed seedlot of around 80 varieties from local collections and the Australian Grains Genebank as part of the Central Victorian Landrace Breeding Project. This is a second generation selection of purple seeds, so expect some variation in the seedcoat colour.
