Description

A super-diverse landrace of multi-coloured sweet corn, derived from Alan Bishop’s legendary Astronomy Dominie, which combined over 200 different open pollinated and ancestral sweetcorns. We combined it with our dry-adapted low input sweetcorn landrace to get a head start on adapting to local conditions, and initially grew it out without irrigation , minimal bed preparation and no fertility inputs. Expect a huge diversity of plant form, height, vigour and cob size. Colours include red, yellow, white, with occasional blues, lavenders and greens.
